Quite a few months ago I started working on a shopfront for this site. The options are all there in the Weebly toolkit however I just haven't had the time to get it off the ground (insert cute 3yr old here!) So, what to do? Well I don't know about you, but I love love love Etsy. And the quality of the items is really pretty amazing, I always see things I'd like to buy, plus they have been gradually improving the site to the point where I think it's a viable option. Of course with any site like this, you have to think about fees etc, but perhaps its worth it for the ease of use, and already huge user base? If you want a more professional look there are options like Saatchi, or Fine Art America and they also take care of some of the printing and delivery tasks, if you want that, but again there's commission fees to pay. What I really love about the digital age is that anyone can get their art out there, and quickly. When I was growing up the only options seemed to be through art galleries or print, and both seemed impossible. I'm not sure what the best path for me is yet, I don't want world domination, just a nice outlet for my creativity. I may try a combination, where I make different images available through different sites. In the meantime its all just a bit of fun.
